Mod motor guys that are going to be at GLD on the 16th Check in.

what combo are you going to be running, and have you made any changes in the off season?

and what times I you hoping to run?

I will start.

Changes in off the season (well the ones I will be doing in the next few weeks)

changing out my D&D upper and lower control arms to the UPR set up
changing out my old and worn B&M shifter for a Pro 5.0
lakewood 50/50 shocks to replace my blown stockers
fox body rear springs in place of the stockers
and VT Cams

having my tune changed a little

Im looking to run 12.7s on motor and 11.9s on spray ( these are my starting goals for 2005, they will change if I make them)

Yo, only change will be tires and my VT stage 1 NA cams, that's it. Hoping to be consistent this year. My goal to be 13.2 at the highest and 12.8 as a best. My mph i believe i should be in the 105.xx range. Was the mid 103.x range last year

I'm not sure yet which car I will bring.. But if I do bring the 4V, she's exactly like she was last November when she went 12.80's. Track's going to be cold and unseasoned, so I don't expect to run 12's. But I'll just be glad to be RACING AGAIN!!!!!

If you hit 105.xx you should be able to run 12's without too much trouble, given the way your car is setup Steven.

Hmmm, well, I ain't changed anything except put tailpipes back on. I want to go 12.50s on a boot and try to run high 12s on a 17 inch nitto. My only 12 last year was on a 15 inch BFG Drag radial. I would also like to break into the 110 MPH range.

When I ran a 12.8 last year my MPH was only 104.x so you can do it Steve :alc:

1997 Cobra, vorteched lots of bolt on's.
Bigger fuel pumps are the only changes.
Will only be making 1/8th mile passes most the day, one or two 1/4 late in the day till they kick me out.

I plan on going, but depends on when my friends are going down too. I'll be running bone stock to get base line numbers and learn how to drive the thing on the track. Not to hiojack the thread, but what's a good RPM to launch an auto with street tires (BFG KDW). I've heard to expect anywhere from low to high 14s ET? What's a good mph and 60' for a stock 01 GT auto so I have something to shoot for?

Not real experienced w/ autos at the drag strip. I would try it off idle first, don't just stomp it, flashing the converter is more than likely going to blow them off. If it doesn't like leaving off idle, try stalling it up a little. Street tires can be frustrating at first, just keep practicing.

I'm shooting for low 13's this year hopefully I'll get it earlier in the season. I've put on Nitto 555R 275's which replaced my Michelin Pilot all season 245's So I'm hoping I can get my 60' back to 1.8's and pull a 13.4 13.3

If I have the cash I'll be getting a tune with advanced timing and be getting a dragon TB and Plenum and maybe 3:73 gears if I get these mods I'm hoping to break into the high 12's

I will have to guess that it will run mid to low 14s I have heard of some auto's breaking into high 13's stock but it was in GREAT air.
