I have been looking at Kmembers from maximum motorsports. they look and sound like quality pieces but the cost is right around $600 or more for a 99GT.
However, today i was offered an D&D motorsports Kmember AND A-arms for my GT for like $250 bucks. I was told that the D&D was slightly noisier on the road, but What do you guys think about this? have any experience with either? Do you think it would be worth it to take the D&D Kmember or drop the extra cash for the Maximum motorsports one?
Thanks for your help!
BTW- if it makes any difference, i will be going with the Complete bilstein front and rear coilover package from maximum motorsports.

Maximum Motorsports makes good quality ****, but their K-member is the heaviest out of all the tubuler K-members. Stay away from QA1, i'm very displeased with mine. I would go with these K-members if i can do it again, in order, PA Racing, AJE, UPR, and D&D. D&D they make good stuff. If you can get a good deal on the D&D, go for it, you shouldn't have any problems.

No problem man. D&D has a lot better fitment than my QA1. My K-member actually moved my A-arms an inch lower and an inch towards the front of the car messing up my camber really bad, but 4-bolt CC plates fixed that, thank God! But i also mixed and match parts, with D&D tubular A-arms, and Strange coilovers. Also i only have 7 of the 8 bolts in, the last hole wouldn't line up:( Good luck with the D&D :thumbs_up

Fatstang, I could be wrong but I thought the D&D tubular arms were designed to move the wheel forward an inch. I thought I read that somewhere.....
Maybe someone can shed some light on that?????
I know my car has the entire QA1 package and the wheelbase has not changed but I think we are dealing with two totally different devils here with my car being an 87 and yours being an 03.

I ran my stock A-arms for a few months with the QA1 before i found the D&D tubulars in the classifies. And it did it with the stock and D&D arms. I assume if i did all QA1 components, it may of been a different story :dunno:

Well i did a little more research on other forums, looks like D&D has a pretty good track record. some dont like it. But for $250 for the kmember AND the a-arms, i gotta give it a shot.
Looks like im gonna have my hands full the couple weeks that i will be home in July. So far (if everything works out) i will have a Kenne bell supercharger to install, This K member and a-arms, a full front and rear Bilstein coilover suspension package from maximum motorsports, and my steeda Lower control arms.
