Realignment question

I just changed the shocks and struts in the cobra, I know I need an alignment; but should I take it for a rid for a bit to make sure everything is set in place before I go and have that done is spring?

As long as the tires are not squealing going down the road or around corners you should be alright to just take it for a quick spin to make sure all is well, dont drive to far though.
