I have read alot about those also, they move alot of air but fit pretty poorly. Id like something that fits nicer, if I can ever afford a blower :burnout:

They fit nicely if you fab it right. It takes some trimming, and fabrication but they suck some serious air...

Right now I use the stock clutch fan.

I know a few people who use the Mark VIII fan but it is close to the crank pulley. I am going to try and fab up one I have for my car. If I can't get it to fit I am going to try the Ramchargers fan. It is a Chrysler OE fan that they sell two ways. The 674001 is the fan only and the 674003 is the fan with wiring and relays. I have heard a lot of good things about them as well. They are a lot thinner than the Mark VIII fan and a lot cheaper too.

$140 for the fans with the wiring, sounds pretty good. Do you still need a seperate control unit?

I believe the wiring and relays are off of a manual switch. You can buy just the fan for $80 and buy a temp sender kit (like the ones from Painless Wiring)for around $60. You install a temp probe in the intake and wire it to the relay that comes in the kit. That way you can set the temperature to turn the fan on and off automatically. These kits will not turn the fan on when the a/c is turned on.

I bought a Delta Current controller (part number FK-35)for my fan set up. It has the 35amp relay, temp probe and all the wiring you need. It is a little pricy but has a lot of nice features.

I run my stock fan and stock radiator and its fine.

If your concerned with cooling, I'd prolly upgrade to a better radiator. I think you will see more of a decrease in temps from a nice griffen or fluidyne than you will from an electric fan.

I think I am going to stick with the stock stuff for the time being. Later this summer I am going to switch to a 3 row radiator and a Taurus electri fan with a DCC controller. Thanks for all the replys!!!!
