? for people with 5 point harness

I am finally putting a roll bar in the Capri. I am looking for opinions on the five point harness. Let me know what you like or dis-like.

What mounting style do you like for the shoulder straps? Wrap around or bolt down?

Do you like the "Y" type shoulder staps or the standard dual straps?

Do you like the standard latch or a cam lock release?

Do you have a preference in brands?

i really like the wrap around standard style for the shoulder straps. never had a cam lock, and have had no problems with my standard latch so far. mine are g force.

I have Simpson Cam lock, dual shoulders, bolt-down. It's a good clean install and I like it.

Submarine belt breaks my b*lls, but thats a given. :D

I have had a few people say the Simpson Camlock is the way to go.

I never ran a cam lock but will buy them exclusively from now on. When i wrecked my car last year and i was upside down hanging by the belt i fumbled with the latch for a good 5-10 seconds.....or at least it felt like a long time. A cam lock would have released almost instantaneously. Had the car been on fire it could have been the difference in me getting burnt bad. I won't ever skimp on belts again.

Edit: I've always liked the Y belts but i had a race seat with a hole in it to run the belt through.

Good point Dave. It sucks hearing people quote from experience. But at least others get to learn from those experiences. I don't like skimping on safty items either. I am going to order up the Simpson Camlock set then.
