Yeah, my parents were coming home from our place just north of Antigo yesterday. They made it through just as the state patrol was closing down Hwy 45 in downtown Antigo. My dad said the water was up over the axles on the Explorer and he saw a Grand Prix try to go through and the water was up over the bottom of the doors on his car. The worst part is they still have snow covering the ground up there and most of the lakes are frozen over still.

That's the stuff my folks are worried about, they got a big snow pack and rain in the forcast. Last year they had bad flooding in town. They live on a hill so the house is fine but to get to the other side of town they had to drive 20 min our of their way because the bridge was even closed. :shocked:

Dan are you blind or just dumb??? you look out at the lake by your house today??? yup it's open water!!!! well what I say that is!!! But hey I am dumb so what can I do?!?!?!

There is still ICE all over, I know the channel is open but some of that water you see is also slush on top of ice, we used to drive sleds into april all the time, no problem.
