I'm hoping someone can help me out here. I remember seeing rear control arm bushings offered for fox bodies that were not urethane, but stiffer than stock bushings. I've poured through my parts catalogs, but I can not remember where I saw them. Any help would be appreciated. thanks

I think the Ford racing or Steeda heavy duty uppers claimed to have a harder rubber compound than stock. I didn't know they sold them separately though. Why not just use poly bushings. They last much longer than rubber.

I would go with the poly's also. You really won't notice that much of a ride difference. I didn't.

I just bought some poly ones for my car. They seem really nice.

I thought I had read that using poly's on both ends will cause suspension bind.

It's not that it will but can. :D
I use megabyte jr lowers which have poly on both ends and don't have any problems. On the uppers I have heim joints and just used factory stock replacements on the axle side.
The spherical bushing are probably the best, but just the heim joints on the uppers made mine a lot louder on the street.
On my ZX2 i have every single Energy Suspension bushing they make and it made a great difference in handling. :thumbs_up
I'd say if you grease them really good with that sticky grease they come with and don't tighten the crap out of them you shouldn't have a problem. The poly really is a lot better than the rubber and will last longer and deform less. :thumbs_up
