Is there anything out of ordinary that is involved w/ swapping the front spindles to a pre-sn95 Mustang? Will spindles/brakes etc from a V6 car work? Does this change suspension geometry? Any info would be appreciated. Thank you.

Nothing really that bad in changing them...basically unbolting the old stuff and replacing them with the new spindles. Yes all the spindles and hubs are the same in 94 and 95, whether they are from a Cobra, GT, or V6. With the 94-94 spindles they will retain the stock front track, if you go with the 96 and newer units they will increase your track 8mm per side.

Also in 94 and 95 the brakes in the front are the same for the GT and the V6, 10 1/2 front rotor with single piston calipers.

The balljoints are different on a 87-93 than sn95. I am pretty sure that the sn95 balljoints are like a 1/2" shorter than the 87-93's. Refer to this site for any info.

The balljoints are longer than the foxes so you need a spacer so they tighten up. The spacer is .330 thick. There is a guy on the corral who is selling them for like $20 shipped I think. Or you can get New balljoints from Steeda :thumbs_up

I bought the spacers off the guy on the Corral and they work excellent!!!

Any problems w/ hooking up the brake lines?

It varys... but I believe you will need to get a adapter for the passenger side brake line, or cut and flare the hard line.

I used an adapter for the passanger side and I believe I used the SN lines for both sides. :thumbs_up

I sourced a set of '96 gt front hubs, spindles, rotors, calipers, brackets, and lines from a local yard for $150, they will take them off.

The 96-98 spindles have a wider front track, and may cause rubbing issues.

Where will they rub? Also, when switching to these spindles, can a guy use '94 and up struts?

They will possibly rub on the inner plastic fenders. Your struts should be fine.

Nothing a little trimming can't take care of. Thank you for the feed back.
