What kind of helmet do you need for running mid 9's? They have so many different safety ratings(Snell SA, Snell M, Snell SA 00, ect) I don't know what I actually need for to pass tech.

With the limited amount of brain capacity at your control I would'nt worry about it.

I don't think that a helmet alone will take you into the 9's. You'll probably need somekind of a power adder. Maybe a supercharger or nitrous. :banana:

PS. Sorry for the stupid answer, but the helmet topic has taken quite a beating lately.

That's all outdated. 85's are not legal anymore.

If you anticipate running 9's you should get a 2005 IHRA rulebook.

He is my brother, and I can see that I should have reconsidered introducing him to this site :burnout:

Then again, he shouldn't be reading posts about Helmets when he needs to read about how to stop his Big Block from making S-rods this year!!!!! :banana:
