OK I got the center little bearing out but my new one requires the removal of both. So how do i go about that???

Another trick is to pack the bearing full of grease. You then can use an input shaft or alignment tool to "pack" in the grease. The theory behind this is that the grease will force out the bearing under hydraulic pressure. I've done it once or twice this way, but find it's less messy to use the slide hammer.

At harbor freight you can buy a puller tool for $10 or $15, kinda cheaply made, but effective. However i found out its not strong enough for axle bearings.

Ive tried the greese thing...didnt work, finally went and rented the slide hammer and could have saved hours if i had gotten it right away.
