Hard job? Have to remove fender to get to 'em? Is there a notch in them that allow them to be slid back and forth to adjust it? thanks guys! Is there a tool or stand to hold the door so you don't have to be removing the wiring

It's definately easier with the fenders off, but it can be done with them on. I have done it both ways.

Yes, there is adjustment built into them. It's under the body side. If you loosen all the bolts, you can move the door around quite a bit.

I've used a floor jack in the past. You can use an old buffing pad or an old piece of carpeting to protect the door bottom from the jack pad.
I believe that Eastwood Company actually sells a tool/stand for doing this job, but I don't feel it's cost effective unless you plan on doing them a few times a year.

Very much appreciated! The door looks to be in great shape, it's just the fender is rolled form the door being too far forward courtesy of a gust of wind i guess that blew it too far open. Thanks again for the suggestions!

9 times out of 10 you're hinges will be bent after that happens. Look closely at the top of the seam where the door hinge is bolted to the car to see if there is a gap in there. You may have to get a BFH and a 2x4 to "straighten" the hinge back out. The biggest problem with the Mustang door hinges is that they are welded to the doors, so replacement of them is a little on the difficult side.

The doors on the 95 i just picked up clunk down when i open them, is there a way to fix that?
It sounds like you could use a set of door pins and bushings also. You can pick them up at the local auto parts stores for around $5 each. I would install a set of them in each door to take out any play in the pivot area, and then you could re-adjust the door if needed.
Usually the pins and bushings will fix most of the problem.

ok, how hard is it to replace just the pins, I just bought a set of used hinges off ebay to make it easeier, but the guy is not shipping them, and he doesn't have the greatest feedback, so I'm going to contact paypal to get my money back...
I just wanted to know how hard it is to do the door pin/bushing replacement?
