So I took my car in for an oil change (I of course bought my own oil and filter at farm and fleet) and took the car to the fast lube place a mile away from home. The guy underneith my car said my driver sway bar bolt had snapped and the sway bar was just hanging there... How could this have happened? Do they just wear out over time? Where could I get a new bolt for that?

Sway bar end links are cheap and any auto supply store should carry them.

how much do they charge to change the oil when you bring all the stuff?

10 bucks. It was just convenient for me because I didn't have any decent jackstands (all mine got ran over) and I didn't have anything to drain the oil into. All my pans are full. I have to take a run to the recycling center soon.
