bad for the tranny?

When I drive, I like to rest my hand on the shifter, like if I'm cruising in 4th gear, I just like to rest my hand on the shifter. Is this bad for the trans?

No, but if you leave your foot resting on the clutch pedal that is bad.

well that one i knew lol I have my foot hovering over the pedel, about half an inch, at all times. I don't know why, just a dumb habit I got into. Im always ready to shift :shifter:
