I know there is some grinding that has to happen on the cobra but I don't think thatis necessary on the GT.

I'm running 3.5" Pro stars, GT front brakes and a 5/16" spacer...had to do lots of grinding. Installed 3.5" Draglites on SS Scums car this weekend with 7/16" and didn't have to touch the brakes w/ the grinder so you should be fine.
I haven't had any issues with tech and the spacers either. So you should be fine.

Like I said Steve, they didn't work on my car - they just weren't long enough....

Yep, they are the Moroso #46185! POS's!
I'll try to get some pics of the ARP's that I am using now tonight - they are quite a bit longer!

I forgot to take a pic of the studs side by side, but you can kind of see in this pic how much of a difference there is...http://www.horsepowered.com/imagehost/NitrousEdge/ARP5.jpg

Those look good. I'm just hoping `99+ are a little different than your ride and they will work. I'll keep you guys posted next week when i try them out.

I use the ARP's also...didn't realize the moroso's are so much shorter. Eric did you pay big money for the APR's like I did? LIke $75 for 10?

Exactly, they measure 3" from tip to head, so technically you have 2.5" of thread, but i believe on a `99 and up that's plenty and should work.

Sorry for the late reply, just got back from vacation.
No, I didn't get the expensive ones, I got the .625(?) knurl ones and just drilled/ground them out....they work great now!

Well i don't have any pics, but maybe Ghost4.6 can take some and post them. Both of us installed our Moroso studs yesterday and you were right! They do not stick out of the lug. They are plenty threaded that i don't feel unconfident driving with them, but passing tech at certain tracks may be a problem.
