What Would Cause This? Everything Else Works In The Car But That. I Have Not Had My Car Running Yet And Need This Working. I Did Have Some Welding Done Last Month And The Guy Did Not Disconnect The Computor. I Did Not Have A Battery In The Car At The Time. You Think Its Toast?

What would disconnecting the computer do if it is not connected to anything anyway? No motor or battery was in the car right?

Mark, get in touch with Doug at EFI systems, don't go thru Anderson Ford for repairs or help with the PMS not powering up, call Doug at 864-944-9200. You can send the unit and controller to him and have him go thru it for you, he may not even charge you anything if this is the newer unit.
When you had that K-member installed, did they properly ground the motor and the wiring harness???

thx guys i talked with Rick today he thinks toast. i think that there is a wire missing to my solinoid that powers the eck system. i will look into this tonight. i do have two wires that are not connected to anything from the main ignition factory wire harness. one is yellow with a black stripe and the other is orange. they where spiced together and im was not sure if they were ground or hot so i left them off. i hope this is the problem. the engine looks sweet in the car cant wait to get this running. i will be adding a fuse link to the wire to make sure before i put hot to it.

Alright since the issue has been cleared up I just have to say, if PMS never turned on again I don't think I'd be complaining. Those can be some pretty rough days.
