Is there a bellhousing available that can mount a t-45 to a 5.0l? Can the t-45 be mounted to the stock t-5 bellhousing? TIA

no on both accounts. the reverse is possible though - mounting a t5 to a modular.

Just curious, why would you want the T45?

More of just curious on if it would work. Never heard of anything like that before, and wondered if it would be possible. I'm not very familiar with that trans.

The t-45 bellhousing and transmision are one unit connected by little pegs around the outside. They might be able to be hammered out, but im not sure. If you did find a way remove the bellhousing, you wouldnt be left with anything usable.

The bellhousing on the T45 actually forms the front wall of the transmission. If you take the bellhousing and extension housing off of a T45, all you have left is a part that looks pretty much like an aluminum bowl.
