I want to get an air/fuel ratio gauge but eveyone I see with those on that ratio just jumps from lean to rich back and fourth. Maybe its just the ones I see. How is your working out and is it semi consistent?

I have an AutoMeter and its operation is exactly as you've described. The only time it didn't "hop around" was when my O2 sensors went tits up and then it just read progressively more lean till it read nothing at all all the time.
What you're looking for is "mostly yellow", where the indicators in the stoich segment are illuminated. It's up to our minds to average the display.

Reason why I want one is because of the near future Procharger install. It seems like its not worth depending on one. Maybe I should just go with a boost pressure and fuel pressure meter. I still think the A/F ratio meters look cool.
Innovate has a new one coming out.

I have one in my Plymouth Laser and when I hit full boost it says really rich and then i hit the high boost switch and it goes even more rich so these do not work... My datalogger says that it is good so I would go with something other than a autometer air/fuel for tuning purposes
The meter it self is only as accurate as the data being sent to it. If you hook them up to a narrow band sensor, they will only be acurate at 14.7:1. If you hook them to a wideband, then they are extremely accurate. How does it go, again? Garbage in garbage out? Don't blame the meter.
Keep in mind that Narrow band O2 sensors are only accurate at 14.7:1. Think of them more as a switch, than a sensor.
