1992 Lx with a vortech V-1 SC. 5-6 pounds boost. What should I be setting my timing at?And as far as spark plug gaps go, i have been hearing to set them at .35. Does this sound right?

Are you running a btm? at 5-6 pounds you probably don't need to pull to much timing.

With no boost retard I had 10* initial timing.

Plug gap also depends on boost level and ignition. When running forced induction, an ignition amplifier like an MSD or Crane will provide a hotter spark, which allows you to run a normal gap.
