I got my heads back on today and started to adjust my valves. I put the wrench on the crank pulley and started to turn. I gave it a few turns and suddenly it sounded like something metal snapped or popped. It wasnt really all that hard to turn the crank. Then I realized that I had the spark plugs in. I took them out and finished adjusting the rockers with no problem.
Anyone know what that noise could have been? I am assuming with the rockers completely loose and the plugs still in the holes that when I was turning the crank over there was no place for the compression to go since the valves werent opening. What made the noise though?
