Does anyone know how wide and what backspacing I can use on a 72' mustang? I would like to get something like Bullet wheels on it.

??
Brian- Did you make a new investment I didn't kow about?
If the wheelwells are anything like mine, (they're similar) the 17x10.5 and 17x9 fit with a 1" or 1 1/4" spacer both front and rear. Even a little thicker in the rear should work.

When using an 8" wide rim 4 1/2" back spacing would be perfect. It would fill the wheel well but have good clearance from the fender lip.
I have a '70 stang and I'm runnin 17x8 wheels on all 4 corners with 4 3/4" backspacing in the front and 4 1/2" backspacing for the rear wheels.
If you have more questions just keep posting, I'll try to respond asap. I'm usally on & off throughout the day. :D
BTW how about posting a pic of it? Gotta love the coupes! :thumbs_up
