Pillar guage pod install

I am putting my guages on the A-pillar and I bought just the partial cover dual guage pod and i need to remove the existing A pillar to make holes. Just a quick question, what is the easyest way to remove the stock A-pillar? It seems like it is going to break if I try to force it out, so I dont want to do that. Maybe I am just not going the right way with it, any ideas?

Once you take the screws out, there should be a couple clips holding it in place too. If so, just get your fingers under it where there appears to be clips (you should be able to tell) and gently pull it back. Good luck!
