Just talked with Greg and he is heading back from an awesome run at GLD.

I will let him post the details.

Yup. I'm a happy camper.

This year, like many of you have seen, I have not gone quicker than 13.46, and that's on about 50 passes.

Today, the day after having the car dyno tuned, I went 13.16. 60 foot was 1.92
Much more low end power, wheelspin is a big problem on the powershifts. Stiff headwind too.

I blew it. I missed 3rd on a run where I had my 8th mile ever and I still went 13.41 searching for third gear. :(

It's a 12-second car, that's obvious. All it needs is ET streets and it will run the number. I'm almost 3 MPH faster in the 8th.
What a weekend this has been, wow!

Thanks Chris.
In time. I need more miles on it. But it won't be long. Maybe by the first RSD at GLD it might be ready to go...

That's awesome to hear Greg! I hope i can see you get that 12.
I hope I can expect some better numbers for myself soon. I have ProStars all around with those Nitto's out back, i drop almost 100lbs off the car!

You better hope you never have to line up against me cutting lights like that. And missing 3rd gear?.....I'd never think you'd do such a thing! LOL! J/K

Congratulations Greg! 12's with a fairly stock car is very impressive. I really liked the car when you took me touring in it that day. It made me want one....and i haven't felt that way about the new Mustangs in a looooong time. Hmmmmmm.....maybe i'll have to get an 05 when they come out.....wink....wink.

I knew you'd smile when you saw the part about missing third. In all the time I have had this car, I have missed third I think twice. Once when you were in the car and yesterday.. :thud: I think that now you be even more impressed, because down low the car flies out of the hole. It's getting to feel like the Cobra at part-throttle; it just GOES. :burnout:

And yes Dave, I know that .156 is a poor R/T time but I was racing myself doooood, wasn't focused on wacking the other guy because there was no other guy. :D At least on our last gathering at GLD I was on my lites all day. If it were not for Kirk's PERFECT light against trash-talking Vince, I would have been the R/T champ with at least FIVE lights better than .010 ;)

Maybe you will get that '05, but I think we both know it's not going to resemble the kind you buy at the dealership! :D D

Hey- it's still stock from the TB to the tips of the exhaust system and still has the stock gears. ;)

Thanks for the props Steve...
