found oil need help

i took off my rubber boot on the vacume side before the blower and i found oil in there. it seems to be coming out of the blower. is this normal? and what would be the fix for it. it is a S trim 17 psi boost

Did you buy that blower new? It sounds like a bad seal.

i talked with vortech today and because i do not have any oil coming out the boost side they thiink it is not the seal. i will keep an eye on it. not sure were else it would come from unless when i pulled it off there was oil on the outside from the return line. hmmm well i can always go to a T trim. hehe or Ysi if there is a problem

The only time I have ever seen oil on the inlet side of my blower was when I was running without a bypass valve.

Maybe yours is not working correctly or is not big enough. Just and idea.
