Sniper Tuning

Does anyone know if these products are being sold yet?

I need to find some info on the Sniper scout tuning system.

From what I have heard.

1. there is nothing available yet.
2. they are originally from DiabloSport & started their own product.
3. for a tuning product I would go with SCT.

If it's not even out yet how do you know if SCT is a better product?

From what I have read it's a pretty comprhensive tuner. The hand held version and the laptop version look pretty sweet.

Because I have contacts at SCT & get their insight & input.

It is the knowledge & skills of the tuner/programmer and the only ones with the most knowledge are SCT.

SCT draws from the knowledge of two legendary tuners, Chris Johnson & Jerry Wroblewski.

Most other companies have developed their tuning from reverse engineering the Ford EEC.

No I am going off the input of some of the best & most experienced tuners out there.

You are free to research & make your own choice, and I am not telling you what to buy, just providing some input.

I know of atleast 2 people that had their motors ruined by a Diablo custom Dyno tune.

Like I said do some good research & make your own informed purchase.

I know Diablo has its problems that's why I am not even considering them.

But Sniper is not Diablo....

I was told Sniper was basically a rename/upgrade of a different company - not diablo though...

My Dad has SCT and itr seems good as well. A good friend of mine has a Preditor and is is AWESOME. He has a an 03 Cobra. it the tuner it comes with is safe and adds BIG POWER!!!

But talking a good game & having the intimate knowledge of the hardware are two different things.

Wantnotch, if you do go with sniper, you will have to let us know what you think and dyno #'s if possible.

Then try a SCT tune, and get it dyn'o and post the #'s....and see if MMA will sponsor it as a product test or something:D

I have never had good luck with diablo on a lightning I use to have and a supercharge explorer I had, so anything even remotely related to it, I am very gunshy of. but you never know.

I was very impressed with the SCT tune I had done on my cobra, the tune alone gave me at least 40rwhp. I can also understand wanting to try something new too.
