I've installed Aerospace Component front brakes on my '84. I'm scratching my head trying to figure out the best way to route the braided steel brake hose. I'm going to need a 45 deg -3 fitting out of the caliper. I haven't figured out what to do on the other end to hook up to the factory steel line. Does anybody have pics of their setup?

I got the correct fittings from Behling's 262 or 414 783-7474. they are up in Buttler north of milwaukee off of 125th st past Hampton Ave. they sell a lot of circle track stuff.

the fitting that they gave me used the same clip that comes off the stock fitting on your car to attach it to your car so save the clips. they also have all the felx lines if you need them.

I went to the Earl's store in Steven's Point and got the fittings for mine. They also had the little slots for the factory clip to run thru but I routed mine different and didn't use the factory clips. Earls or Behling's will have what you need. Where you go I guess depends on where your located.

My setup, (had it for like 3 years or so), came with all the angled fittings, etc. It also clipped right into the factory frame mount setup.
Only concern (after all that while), is the master cyl is starting to leak. :>(

Unbelievable! I knew I was an idiot and a procrastinator, but this is ridiculous. I made the original post asking for some help on what lines and fittings to use for my Aerospace brake install.

Turns out, I had the parts sitting on my shelf in the basement since June of 2004! I just opened a box that had Flaming River noted on it. I was thinking it only contained the front steering shaft for my car. Wrong. I opened up the box and there is not only the steering shaft, but also, the correct braided lines and fittings to hook up my Aerospace front brakes. I guess D&D sold me the right parts to begin with.

Plus, there was a BEAR adjustable prop valve in the box too that I think I couldn't find the last time I looked for it.

Anybody want to buy an '84 Mustang or an '83 Mustang Convertible? Maybe I should just get out of this hobby since I have no interest in putting these two cars together. LOL.
