I was pokin around on ebay, looking at foxes for sale, to see what they all had modified on them, and I saw one with a strut tower brace. I've seen these for sale for foxes in many magazines and all over the place online. Are they worth the 200 bucks or so? Would it clear my Trickflow intake? If it did tighten up my front end at all for handling, would it be noticebale at all?

I think they are worth every penny. They tie the strut towers and cowl together making them much more rigid. This stops deflection of the shock towers. This helps handling. I put one on my car and the cowl shake stoped, the handling was noticably better and more predictable.
We all know the fox body chassis is lacking in the rigidity department. I tell people that this mod is just as important as sub frame connectors. Some companies even make a rear shock tower brace that does the same thing.

Oh for sure worth every penny. I noticed an immediate difference both on the road and on the track. I agree that this is something that ties in with the subframe connectors. Subframes help tie the chassis front to rear and the strut tower/shock tower brace(s) help tie the chassis left to right. They help the car remain "flat", if that makes sense to you.
When I launch hard at the track I get less of a left side lift than before. Now the front comes up more evenly translating into better weight transfer. It may still lift more on the left and a set of adjustable struts can help offset that even more by setting the left side a tad tighter than the right.
As far as clearing your particular intake I am sure there is one out there that can. There are a number of different designs on the market. Mostly due to the variety of intakes available.

how would I know which brand will clear my intake without buying and trying it?

Some companies know because they test fit them on different intakes. Stay with companies that use their product on race cars like Maximum Motorsports, Steeda, Kenny Brown, etc.. You could also look online to see people with your intake and see what style strut brace they have.
