Need opinions

I have been told by my wife and some friends that i should leave my cowl hood white because it stands out and looks cool. I will most likely paint the hood along with the car but wanted to get some other opinions on it.

I'd hate to be looked at as a ricer ya know!

I'll be the odd man out & say keep it white. That's what I would do for a while just to be different. Sooner or later I'd paint it to match the car.
