my friend lured me into this and its a great little thing. as some of you with dirt bikes, ATV's or snow mobiles know, youd like to keep your ride fresh and clean at all times rite?! well you also mite know there is a spray that you can buy that once you wash your vehicle of choice it seals teh pores of the painted surface for a hella kool shine. Plexus. its a black can with white writing and a white top and i gotta say i have waxxed the stang about 4 times. each time with something different. by far the easiest and best shine came from plexus. its supposed to be used for painted plastic surfaces but upon reading the instructions on back, it says pretty much anything with a painted surface. i highly recommend giving it a shot. cuz its all i will use. oh.... for those of you who live in cold places like i do if you get the chance, use it because its supposed 2 cut down on static build up as well so you wont get blasted everytime you touch your door.

i wont lie though, your looking to spend about 8 bucks a can but the shine lasts for quite a bit, and if it gets dusty, pollen covered or even some dirt on it, get a cali duster and it returns to the bad@$$ shine. (1 can lasts roughly 3-4 uses.) use it on the rims also and you wont get as much brake dust on them. i did a touchless wash a few days ago, i may do it again and then immediately apply a coat of plexus so that it shines even in the snow.
Does this product contain any kind of Silcone??

well i have used it already and i have seen nothing that looks like fish eyes. is that where the paint bubbles up? if thats the case then no i have not seen it but i will still check on that.
Fisheyes are an impurity on the surface that the paint runs away from when being sprayed. It's usually caused by grease, oil, and silicon. They're an easy fix, but they take time and more money.

would the spray actually cause fish eyes? if its already painted and clear coated i mean?

ok then fish eyes would not be a prob if teh surface was already painted and clearcoated. i looked it up and there is no mention of silicone anywhere. i think its safe to say its silicone free.
Does it say Body Shop safe anywhere?

it doesnt any place that i have seen. try this site see if any of the info is helpful 2 you. i know it says plastic but on the bottle itself it says you can use it on pretty much any painted surface. i know im promoting this like its the greatest thing ever but even though its supposed to be used on plastic, it still worked wonders on my car when i put her on.

where can I buy this? Any stores? Or does it have to be purchased off the internet?

hopefully they give you good feedback as to content and whether its rite for your shop. as for ordering it, i got mine at the local ATV/ moto-X dealership. i paid 8 bucks a can. the internet says 9 and change. if you got a motorcycle place or any place that deals with the above mentioned, ask them about it. with the weather being as stupid as it is where i am, i am giving the rims a hardcore spray to keep the dirt from sticking to the rim.
