Rice or Ok

Ok so since I got my 93 Cobra rims you can see my calipers threw the wheels and I hate looking at bare calipers with brake dust on em. I was thinking of painting the calipers red for the "performace" look. Is this rice or no, if it is to "rice" then I will do em black then. All input is welcome.

Go for red, I did them on my car and I love the way it looks. With the dark color rim it will really make it look bad ass.

Mine are red and so are my rear drums, but then again....so is the car :biggrinsa

I think it would look cool with red calipers, but they may also look out-of-place with all the black surrounding it. That is what most people's eyes will be drawn to when you drive by.

I would paint them black.

On a black car, with that style of rim, I'd paint them silver or black. Red would draw too much attention to the caliper on a black car. And those calipers are not a cool looking caliper like say a BAER caliper.

Given that, I did paint a set of 73mm front calipers that I plan on putting on my '83 vert with gray, 17" OZ Monte Carlos. I'm going to paint the rear Mark VII caliper on the car red also. The car is going to be metallic gray like the Eleanor Shelby Mustang. I'll also have a nice shade of red (not porno red) for the interior so it will help complement the red calipers.

It's all about what you want though since it's your car.

You got em on backwards..... that is a right side wheel. They come lefty's and righty's. The turbines are going the wrong way. I would know. If you use directional treaded rubber you can't switch sides. Just front to back. It might help with brake cooling though. I don't know.

No, not really. Just an insider between me, Jim, Joel and Danno and a couple others. Joel is just a pimp, plain and simple!

Um yeah I know that, the part #'s were wrong on the boxes so I mounted em backwards but I think they look better backwards and I dont feel like dis-mounting and remounting those, 17"+ tires are a bitch to mount.
