I need to replace my bar to frame front swaybar bushings on my 90 GT. I measured my bar and it is 1.300" diameter. Which bushing should I get, 1.250 or 1.3125? Am I better off with a tight fit or a loose fit? There isn't any price difference but I just want to make sure I'm getting the right one.

I ditched my front sway bar completely to drop 15-20lbs. off the car and to assist on weight transfer. But if you're gonna use yours, go with a tight fit. Just my $0.02.

How does it drive without it? I imagine going around corners must be a little more difficult. Is it pretty stable on the freeway?

I don't have a sway bar on the ft end of my stang for a few years now. &
my ft end is stable at 142 mph going through the finish line at the drag strip. :D

Well that sums up the speed end of it, how about going around corners and lane changes in town?

It's not bad at all, you just take turns 2-3mph slower than you're used to. Almost unnoticable. I've got up to 100mph on the HWY changing lanes no problem, i never go that fast normally, i usually cruise 70-75mph cause of the 4.30 gears :burnout:

if you keep it go with the tight busings and get some new universal end links too

Yeah, I put new end links on last year because they were about to break off. I figure I'll go with the 1 1/4 bushings and see how that works.

You'll need to get the 1.31" bushings. The smaller 1.25" won't fit around the bar. I hated driving my Mustang on the street without a front sway bar. But then I like to go around corners fast besides just a straight line.
