94-98 Headers on my 01

i've searched and searched and searched on the v6 sites and can't seem to find a definitive answer on whether or not 94-98 style headers will fit on a 99-04. i think that they'll bolt to the head, but i'm mostly concerned about the egr stuff and whether or not the rest of the exhaust will bolt right up.

does anybody know for sure one way or the other? if no one knows, i'll probably be finding out one way or the other this weekend, because i'm going to try to install them.

They will bolt right up to the heads.

But I believe there are fitment issues with EGR & the downpipes.

If you are going to do this get a new set of gaskets for the exhaust manifolds.
They are inexpensive & will probably prevent any leaks.

i got the gaskets in today. is there a set of gaskets between the headers and the downpipes as well? or just between the head and the headers (what i have)?

i'll probably try to take a closer look at it tomorrow when i go put my transmission cooler in the trunk. hopefully i'll find a way to make it work.
