On ATI blowers (good or bad)? I just picked up a P1SC2 from a friend of mine. Not even 10 miles on the blower for 2 g's complete. I'm a nitrous guy and am new to blowers. What can I expect good and bad on jumpin' to the blower way of life? Currently my car runs 12.4's @ 109 mph on stock heads and cam with mods below on 125 dry shot. Will be adding a F-cam and Edelbrock 6037's this weekend, make another few runs on the squeeze (hoping for high 11's) and then get the blower in. Thanks alot guyz!!!
One more thing, any good blower forums besides corral out there? Gotta get in the mix with blowers now... Thanks again!

I think www.superchargerhelp.com is the best place for blower support. They support all blowers made

ATI makes a good, durable blower. The knock on them has always been installation and the placement of the intake tube/filter over the driver-side header. You have to relocate the battery on ATI installs, deal with the intercooler install, etc.
There's a steep learning curve too. You will need to be sure to build your combo around boost, and tuning is everything. Fuel system upgrade, ignition upgrade, driveline reinforcent- these are all things you need to think about...

exactly what Greg said...the install is a bit more involved, but thats ok. Relocating the battery gives you more room and better weight distribution. Depending on the kit, you might have to replace the factory ford washer bottle with an oldschool fomoco bag type (d1b's were like this) to gain some room

I had a procharger on my Notch. It made some good power. I liked the tensioner set up for the procharger, I also liked that it comes with an intercooler. I didn't like that it mounted on the drivers side. It seemed too loud for me. I had a Vortech S-Trim on a Different Notchback previous and it seemed quieter. All in all the Procharger for the Money is probably better with all that you get with it.

P1SC-2's are great!!!! I think they are basically a D1 with a smaller outlet for the Renegade guys. I take it that isn't a intercooled kit? A good friend of mine was running 12.7's N/A and put a P1SC-2 on his car with the stcok pullies and ran 11.3 on the second pass.
My brother hasa 95' Lightning with a F1R that runs in the 9's. Gotta Love Procharger!!!

Well got the F-cam, Edelbrock Allumn. heads, BBK shorties and o/r h in yesterday. Fired her up and had a massive exhaust leak at the stock flow tubes. Couldn't get it to seal so I ordered a Flowmaster American Thunder Cat-Back and stainless tails. Damn if it ain't one thing it's another!!
Hey any of you guyz know where I can get a used intercooler for my P1SC-2 for cheap besides e-bay? Hoping to make connections on the mainland for stuff like this as here in Hawaii, we have no good junk yards or Mustang speed shops, and finding good performance parts is next too impossible. If any of you know of or can hook a brother up with parts or names lemme know... Thanks guyz!!!

Those blowers are good the only problems is there is more tubes to pop off compared to a vortech or paxton keep the spray with the blower providing you have a good fuel system, put a 50 or 75 shot through it and that thing will get down :shifter:

More boost = more hoses popping off.
