If one shock is kind bad it will make the car lean to the bad side correct? The driver side rear is bout 1 1/2" lower than the pass side so I think it is the shock cuz everything else looks good under there.

is the shock oily?

I just picked up a set of those strange 10 way external adjust shocks...for $70ea they can't be beat!

Well I put my stockers back in an no luck. I stoped by a shop we deal with at work and had the guys look at it and they said it could be a weak spring? Could that be the problem? The car is unlevel in the back by like 1" to 1 1/4" and the front is dead on. Last night I put in new 4cyl springs with 1 coil cut on the fronts and never measured the rear before I did the springs. Could those have caused something to change in the rear? I dont' think so but what do you guys think?

have the rear springs rotated at all?

the thing is, mustangs NEVER sit level on all 4 corners...the car is balanced like a fatkid on a tight rope, but to be 1.5" off is a bit odd

is the car on dead level ground? has anything changed recently? hit any big bumps?

How'd the install go with the springs? You wanna help me do mine? Would i need to cut mine? What did you cut it with?

btw cutting 4 cylinder springs negates some of the weight transfer benefits

So it will be fine if i leave the 4 cylinder springs as is and cut an inch off the rear?

I wouldnt cut springs, but thats just me. Sounds like a bad spring is the reason for the lean. Did you check to see if one is broken? Thats alot of lean!

if you only want the lowered stance then cut all you want ;)

I would say its a spring issue. I would mark the springs & pull out the rear springs 1st cause they are easy. measure them when they are at free length, they should be real close to each other in length, if good then put them back but swap them from 1 side to the other & see what happens. I would do the same in ft if the rear checked out good....that will let you know if the car should be somewhat level or not
I just had the same problem on my car, pass side rear spring was shorter by 3/4 inch than the dr side on my coil overs, when it was not under pressure(out of the car). I always had to have more pre load on the pass side spring or my car would never go straight down the track under power.
