Fuel pump ???????

I was having a few issues with may car and I found out that the wire to my inline fuel pump had worn through on a screw and was grounding. I taped the wire and the pump sounds fine. Should I change the pump anyway or is it probibly ok??? Thanks in advance. :D

The pump is probably ok. I would make sure to put a fuse in the circuit though so if it happens again you don't melt anything.

Might want to loom that peice of wire or heat shrink it so it doesn't waer through that tape.
