Here is the background:

I get the check engine light once in a while after driving for 10 - 15 minutes. At the next start it is off but may come back on after the 10 - 15 min.

Ok it appears to have 2 codes from KOEO test.
67 & 91.
67 neutral drive switch or circuit
Or
AC clutch switch or circuit.
91 O2 sensore problem, fuel pressure out of range, injectors out of balance.

Fast forward to last night:

We finally got the old O2 sensors out, had to heat them with a torch to get them to move at all. Passenger side not bad the new one went right in, but the drivers side threads were messed up.

We got a thread chaser today and it did not want to clean them out.
First try we were off by one thread. Backed it out, cleaned again, same result. So we just snugged it up. No leaks!

And the check engine light stays off now.

So now next week I can get the emissions test done that was due in April.

Thanks,

I am just happy to have that last O2 sensor installed.

Mine were 12 year rusted original. What a PITA.

I am going to break the ones on the six loose next time so I know they will come out when needed.

It passed Wisconsin emissions just before I bought it so I should not have problems.

We have very stringent emmissions testing here and that car passed easily, it "fast passed" in fact. If you do a carfax on it, this should show up. It has never failed emissions as far as I could tell?

FYI, (the next time), the threads on 02 sensors are same as old style BIG spark plug threads. (been there, done that, many, many times).
Glad ya got 'er fixed, Kirk. !!!
