after you hit the button and step in the gas is your motor reving up past your stall speed and if you have a supercharger will you be making full boost? i also have my nitrous setup at W.O.T so if i put the pedal down to the floor my nitrous will be activated right? do i want to activate nitrous against my trans break?

thx im new to this trans break so please fill me in before i wreck something.

The motor cannot rev past the stall speed of the converter. Unless you change the wiring you will be spraying the converter. I've heard of guys doing it and they say you get incredible launches. However, it's hard on parts for obvious reasons. If you have a 2 step and the nitrous engages while it's stuttering you'll do serious damage to the engine. Most stuttering devices and rev limiters work by firing the plugs every other time it's supposed to. Imagine how the engine's going to load up when the plug doesn't fire....and then how it's going to ignite when the spark finally hits the hole!

You can wire the nitrous system so that it doesn't activate until the transbreak is released. I have the diagrams saved on my computer at work and can send you the link if you want. All it will take is another relay and a few hours of work.....no big deal.

That's what I'd do.....

Actually....I take that back. Go to the "Nitrous Guru" post in the power adder section and look at the links that I put up in there. You can wire the car so that the trans break button holds the circuit open when it's engaged. Just roll the car into the the beams, depress the brake when you're fully staged, floor the car, and let off the button. When you let off the button the nitrous will engage....and away you'll go!

hmm i could wire it to my main power switch and with the button in the system will be off.
