WTF is a crank scraper?

the scraper gets sandwiched between the block & oil pan. & reaches in twords the crank shaft. as the crank & rods are spining around oil is flinging off them. & gets deflected/scraped off the crank & back down into the oil pan.
other wise the oil bounces back off the oil pan & bottom of block back into the rotating crank & rods. it robs power running into the oil just like when you have to run in water or hit water from the high dive.
its not much power but when every bit counts the little things add up fast.

some cool parts Kirk!

Question

You think you might get it done this year yet, or are you shooting for the V6 challenge in spring?

I was thinking of doing the windstar intake, how big is the performance gain?

I hope to have it back before the end of the year.
Actually before the snow flies.

That's a hard one. Our goal is 300, but it could be anywhere between that & 280.
