It will hurt bottom end response but with a high lift cam and big flow heads, down low is not where he is going to be planning on making power. Really the question is what will be the restriction? The MAF out front of the blower(if he has one), the throttle body which is most likely going to be a 90mm so highly dought it, then the intake? Its up to you but I think if you are really going to street drive it then a runner style intake will help you get through town on the si-trim. But when you step up I think the box is the way to go.
I'm trying to find a way without making it sound like I am trying to be a dick which I am not.

I mean this honestly but have you driven a 700+rwhp car on the street? Maybe you have I don't know but I have and he will have nothing to worry about down low when he tries to "get through town."

Even at 25% percent throttle he will making probably double what an average daily driver would. He will be fine with the Box and the 90mm, buy once and be done with it.

No I havent, just 500. Its just a matter of tune. I just see guys at the track with 9 second cars and cant make it out of the pits without revving the motor just to keep it running. I do have to say though driving a boosted 700hp car would be much different than a 700hp N/A car. Keep it tuned right and you can drive anything on the street. Just a matter of keeping it legal and safe.

My n/a 347 had one and it made 385RWT at 3300rpm. The TFS-R box has to be the heaviest 5.0 style intake on the market though and if I was to do it again I would buy a Victor 5.0.

Well I second the Victor 5.0, and then you can run a stock hood also I would say go with a 75mm. That combo with 15psi should make close 700rwhp with no problem and drive just fine and have enough down low for most ant street tire in 1st, 2nd gear. Then when you step up to a ysi and some big boost you will be good to go.

I almost fell over when I weighed my new TFS box compared to old blow-thru carb and Super Vic set-up. As I recall the box was 51#s!!!
