Default Recaro Child Seat

Just wondering if anyone has had any experience with Recaro car seats? I'm looking at purchasing a Recaro Vivo in the next few days and would appreciate input.

IMHO.... I think they grow out of them to fast to buy a Recaro or the like. They remind me of the prostreet days when you'd see that little seat strapped in between the wheel tubs

Ordinarily I'd agree but this one is a belt positioner seat which is rated 30 - 100lbs and costs $99 which is why I'm considering it. You're definitely right about the regular Recaro seats that start at $250 and go up from there. That's ALOT of money for a kids car seat.

$100 is still 3 times what a Graco booster is though

My son had a Recaro booster seat that was a nice set up and no problems with it. I would recommend them for booster seats

I appreciate the input. I did end up getting one despite the comparitively high price. One selling point was the side impact protection ratings and the aluminum frame (as opposed to plastic). It should last her until she no longer has to use a car seat (I hope)

I dont have children and know nothing about child seats but I thought some might find this interesting. I work with IMMI products daily and when this thread started it made me think of them.
