Dan does not fool around when it comes to his car. Anyone who's spent any time around him knows this firshand. He's also got some pretty good "advisors" like Robin Lawrence, a guy who knows his stuff.

I'm planning to go to Milan, you coming too Kev???

When Dan wanted to step up he was serious about doing what it takes to run near the top of the heap. He has the equipment and he can drive.

Add a little historical information from my previous Real Street racing and the rest falls into place.

Got to thank Brian Thompson from Thompson Automotive in Wixom Michigan for the shortblock, Don West for work on the TFS heads and engine dyno.
Cory at Simpson Performance for the use of the chassis dyno last Tuesday night.
Crew guys Todd and Joel were a huge help and probably drank less beer last weekend then ever before. Dan was sick as a dog so he was careful also.

Looking forward to seeing some good things from Dan this year.

Hey Greg, I was planning to make the drive up to Milan and support Dan's efforts as long as I'm available that weekend. Sounds like a blast!!

Nice to see you posting on the forum Robin, it was great meeting you last year at Joliet with Dan as well. Dan has some fantastic help in his corner, I think he is going to turn a lot of heads this year...

Thanks for the support everyone! This wouldn't have been possible without the help of Robin. He has been a great help to this program and has offered lots of info that has taken him years to obtain. We are tickled to have been able to come out on our first race and qualify #1 and make it to the finals. It didnt come without lots of work thats for sure! We had the car appart alot this weekend trying to get some things ironed out. Bob would know a little about that because he was pitted right behind us! I am hoping with a little testing we can gain some info and get the car hookin a little better!
