Default 4.6 4 valve guys what exhaust setups are u running or like.

Well I recently picked up a like new mach 1 and am going back forth if I want to change the exhaust up. I was thinking of just putting some flow master 40 series on in place of the factory mufflers. I love the factory rolled tips. What are your thoughts of exhausts u like the sound of on these motors? Borla stinger cat back seems popular? Are X pipes better on these cars than h pipes?

mine's not a 4v, but still a 4.6. I did the muffler swap when I first got it (Flowmaster 40 series). I loved the sound and didnt think it could be improved until I put an O/R prochamber midpipe in. No better combination IMO. I've had it for 11 years and never once considered changing the exhaust for something new or different, and If i ever get another mustang I will use the same combination.

I am curious how Longtubes would affect the sound though...
