2011 GT500 Order Guide
Like we've been saying for awhile, the 2011 GT500 will have an aluminum block, along with some other new options, including a "SVT Performance Package" that consists of 3.73 gears, special wheels and suspension pieces, appearance changes and different spoiler. You can also order the glass roof as an option.
The HID headlights are now standard. It also will have electric power steering to free up some more horsepower.
You can pre-order them now as well.

Darn, I was hoping they would use the 6.2L motor with an Ecoboost-esque twin turbo setup on the new GT500.
Oh well, with the aluminum block it will still weigh a LOT less.

If the car weighed as much as an 03 Cobra, with 500RWHP, and the straight axle... It's a deep 11 car.

Ok I may just be an idiot, but would someone explain why a person would order a car that you have no idea the price, cost of options, or most importantly the power that it will make?

That sheet was posted the day it was public. People have been hungry for info. You can now call your local dealership and they should be able to provide that info. For example, the "sticker" price of the car I'd order (if Momma let me would get it) Kona Blue with the SVT Performance Package and the glass roof option is $54,985.00. How much power? The power level should be close to the previous version (2010 model 540 HP) less the weight difference for the aluminum engine. It's not going be less power than the 2010, so that's enough info for me personally that I'd order one if my wife approved.
