The posi should fix 99% of your problem.

OK WHAT BRAND WOULD BUT GOOD AND HOW DIFFICULT WOULD IT BE TO INSTALL?

SHOULD I JUST FIND GT TAKE OFF REAREND AND BE BETTER ALL THE WAY AROUND. I THINK THE GT'S HAVE 3:73 OR 3"31 I FORGOT

Yes the GT take off would be the hot setup. Your 7.5 is weak at best. I've seen a half dozen 7.5 break in the last 10 yrs.

A Detroit True Trac would be good for you if you're planning on keeping the 7.5. I do agree that an 8.8 would be the way to go for you though.

I'm getting 3:73's and a Trak Lok installed in my 7.5 tommorow but I can't see my car doing better than a high 13 second run or exceeding 230 -240rwhp for a long time. I've also got an automatic and won't be using slicks so I'm hoping/figuring it will hold up fine. A power added like you've got would have me running for an 8.8.

I agree that a posi would take care of 99% of your problem. As far as looking for a good launch rpm, don't forget that right now there is still a lot of salt on the road, and the track has a lot more traction than any street.
