Default How times have changed.

I remember like 7-8 years ago there would be so many new posts on here and now it's exciting to read one a day. Has alot of people left or not log in anymore?

It's a lot of things. Partly my fault, as back before our parts business took off like a rocketship, I had a LOT more time for the hobby, I had time to setup events, was more "Mustang Focused", I used to spend a LOT of time on the website, adding, tweaking, etc. But business is business and as Kirk can attest to (he came to the shop Friday for a few hours to hang out with Missie and I) it's become a 7-day-a-week thing and I have almost no time anymore to visit ANY websites. I'm active on FB because it's easy and I have my Iphone with me all the time. Plus a LOT of people have sold the mustang, started a family and such. Actually this has happened to a lot of sites. it is what it is. I leave MMA up because I own the server it's on, and people still seem to have good luck with the classifieds sections and old friends lurk, so what the heck right? To whomever still sticks around, thanks...!

I stop by in my downtime during the day. Another mustang site I'm on has become a ghost-town as well. I rarely post anything anymore though, as I've been busy with the new job, new family, and shifting priorities. I'm also preparing to sell my first and only mustang when I return from overseas in November. i'v been back and forth on that for a couple years, but have finally decided its what I need to do. I just dont drive it anymore, and I dont have the time or money to maintain it with two toddlers running around. It would be better to let it go to someone who will drive it than to let it rot in my garage.

That being said, if anyone's interested in a 35th anniversary coupe, PM me.

Same here, I was out of cars for a while dealing with life but I've started lurking here and a few other sites. Met some good people here.

BTW You did my old V6 with a Vortech, had some fun with that but sold it off.

Can't afford to be messing with car mods etc. right now with kids/family etc. but I like reading about what people are doing with their cars etc.

Same with me also. I sold my LX about 2 years ago and I would still visit being stangless. I just like this forum it is not enormous like corral and I feel there is a good group of guys here. I have only met a handful of them over the years but it's nice to see the same names on here. One huge plus from this forum when I joined was meeting fritz who helped me out a ton with my old black Lx.

Like everyone else, family and other obligations really took the ability to spend time on hobbies away. This is probably the only car related site I check into any more, mainly because I've met some of the people from way back. Keeping websites going IS a lot of work. So yeah, Greg thanks for keeping it alive.
